One of the loveliest hotels in Barcelona, the staff is very friendly and attentive, the location is very strategic and close to all the vibrant places, and the rooms are pristine, highly recommended.
My wife and I stayed here for two days in one of the rooms with a balcony overlooking the suite. The balcony was a huge asset to have a place to relax outside between outings and enjoy the city in quasi-privacy, and the views are beautiful. The room itself was extremely comfortable and well-appointed and the location was hyper convenient, only steps away from the Diagonale metro station. The food in the restaurant, or at least the breakfast we tried, was excellent. Most importantly, we were extremely impressed with the staff, which is available by phone or by WhatsApp; we leveraged WhatsApp and they consistently responded within only a few minutes - super convenient when we were out and about. What impressed me most is that on a Friday morning in August, I reached out to the hotel to ask if they would mind calling a small/casual tapas restaurant in Gracia to attempt to make a reservation for 14 people that same evening on my behalf. I almost didn't think it would be possible but figured it couldn't hurt to ask, and to my pleasure and surprise, they'd managed to secure the reservation only a few minutes later. With all that said - my wife and I loved our experience here, and always looked forward to returning to the hotel between explorations in the city. When we're able to return to Barcelona we will certainly check Hotel Sagnier for availability before looking anywhere else. Thanks for a great experience!
