De Durgerdam is truly special. From the moment we arrived, everything felt thoughtful, warm and beautifully considered. The food was exceptional, the service gracious and genuinely welcoming, and our stay was incredibly comfortable. The setting and gardens are spectacular, but what really stayed with us was the attention to detail. Every design decision feels intentional—from the materials and colors to the furnishings and smallest details—without ever feeling overly designed or precious. There is a wonderful sense of place here. Beautiful design is one thing, but combining it with great food, wonderful service and genuine hospitality is something else entirely. De Durgerdam manages to do all of it exceptionally well. We absolutely loved our stay and cannot wait to return.
