I want to thank the Canal House for their kindness and hospitality. We arrived in the morning and were granted an early check in, tried to book two rooms for the night before to accommodate our early arrival but they were sold out. However, they had two of the rooms cleaned quickly to provide rooms for 4 exhausted travelers. One of my teenage daughter became very ill, then it hit my husband, and the canal house was kind and accommodating and offered suggestions for pharmacy’s, dr’s to help get them well. Thankfully, it was only 1-2 day illness and we went on to enjoy the rest of our stay. The Canal House provides service that you would get at a 5 star Italian resort and it’s genuine hospitality, not fake. We will be back to Amsterdam next summer and stay agin at this quaint hotel.
I love everything about this hotel… from the signature welcome beverage, the private garden, well-appointed rooms, moody decor and exceptional staff (Vito, Sylvia and Melanie, in particular). And the breakfast was delicious!!

We had an amazing stay at Canal House Amsterdam during our honeymoon. This beautiful hotel has a unique charm, a wonderful atmosphere, and truly exceptional hospitality. A special thank you to the team for the thoughtful honeymoon surprise: a bottle of champagne and a lovely handwritten card waiting for us in our room. This gesture meant a lot to us, and we will keep the card as a precious memory of this special time in our lives. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Canal House made the beginning of our married life even more magical, and we would love to come back one day. Highly recommended!
