My friend and I stayed at Secret View Hotel for her 40th birthday, and the experience was absolutely outstanding. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Santorini. Firstly, a massive thank you to Efstathios, who I was emailing for weeks before our stay to arrange a balloon display for my friend’s 40th birthday. Efstathios went above and beyond and created the display exactly how I wanted it. He also arranged a floating breakfast experience for her actual birthday, which again was absolutely incredible. When you stay at the hotel, they provide you with their WhatsApp number, and you can contact the hotel at any time. We used this many times throughout our stay and received a response within seconds every single time. The level of service really was exceptional. The hotel itself is so peaceful and incredibly clean. The rooms are amazing — spacious, beautifully designed and genuinely luxurious. The location is also perfect. It is just outside Oia, meaning you are away from the busy crowds but still only a short walk into Oia itself. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is fantastic, with low noise levels and a really peaceful, relaxing feel. One thing I was particularly worried about before our stay was getting taxis, as I had read that this could sometimes be an issue in Santorini. However, we had absolutely no problems at all. The hotel has its own taxi service, which is reasonably priced and in line with local taxi prices. We used the hotel’s taxi service several times and found it really convenient and reliable, so this definitely isn’t something I would worry about when staying here. The hotel pool is gorgeous, and you can enjoy the most amazing sunsets from there. The staff are constantly making sure you are okay and provide free towels, water, sun cream and after-sun, which are such lovely touches. Breakfast is also lovely, with a good choice of food to suit everyone. The waiting staff are extremely helpful, friendly and attentive, which makes breakfast a really enjoyable experience each morning. All of the staff at Secret View are amazing and genuinely cannot do enough for you. However, a special thank you has to go to Efstathios. He went above and beyond on numerous occasions to make our stay memorable, comfortable and fun, and his attention to detail really made my friend’s birthday extra special. Thank you to everyone at Secret View Hotel for such an incredible stay. We absolutely loved it and would definitely return!
The best service I have ever had at a hotel. The staff made our stay so memorable and went out of their way to help make our honeymoon the perfect trip. In every way, they went above and beyond in booking reservations, making recommendations, and making our stay comfortable. We were so sad to leave because we loved our time at this hotel so much.

We had the most wonderful mother and daughter stay at the Secret View Hotel. There was a small mix-up with our room on arrival, as we didn’t want to share a double bed (my mum snores!), but the team resolved it immediately by upgrading us to an Aqua Suite, which was absolutely stunning. The hotel was immaculate, and the staff were exceptional from start to finish. Our room was serviced twice daily, fresh towels and bottled water were always provided, and staff even brought ice-cold water around the pool. A real highlight was when there was a power cut on our second to last day. Although it was completely out of the hotel’s control and only lasted a few hours, the staff generously offered us complimentary drinks and a meal each. We thought this was such a thoughtful gesture and a true reflection of their outstanding hospitality. The location is perfect, just a 15–20 minute walk to Oia, and the hotel restaurant served some of the best calamari we’ve ever had. The only small improvement would be to include the cooked breakfast options from the à la carte menu in the bed and breakfast package. Overall, the service was second to none, and the Greek hospitality made this one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.
