We recently stayed at Atoles Retreat for five nights during our honeymoon. What a beautiful hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived and the aesthetics of the room, just gorgeous! The view from our room was incredible and we were lucky enough to see the sunset perfectly. Our room (The Grace Suite), felt very private and tranquil. We had the most magical experience. The perfect boutique stay in Santorini. Stunning, calm and stylish cave interior with uninterrupted and private views of the Caldera. Location is in a quieter part of the island but has fantastic restaurants within a short walk. There is also a small supermarket next door so easy to get basics if needed. But on top of all this is the 7* service you receive - Neil and his team are only a message away from anything you need: taxis, restaurant recommendations, yoga mat, in room massage. Highly recommend!!
Our first visit to Santorini was made truly unforgettable thanks to Atoles Retreat. If I could give it six stars, I absolutely would! From the moment we arrived, we were dazzled by the breathtaking views, and the evening sunsets are like no other! The accommodation was exceptionally luxurious, and each morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast served on the stunning terrace overlooking the caldera. The service was impeccable throughout our stay. Every member of the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our experience perfection! A very special thank you to Neil, who went above and beyond by organising everything for us, from incredible restaurant reservations each day to an unforgettable private catamaran cruise. Nothing was ever too much trouble! Atoles Retreat exceeded every expectation, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly. We can’t wait to return in 2027!
We spent our honeymoon at Atoles Retreat and it made the whole trip. Three days and two nights felt way too fast. We stayed in the suite with the large infinity pool. Nothing below the pool, genuine privacy from the neighbors, and the sunset drops right in the middle of the pool. Easily the best sunset we have ever seen. Breakfast was on point every single day. Juice, coffee, Greek yogurt, a savory dish, and a dessert, all fresh and delicious. The Greek yogurt and the salmon bagel were the standouts. The service is what really sets this place apart. They give you a WhatsApp contact (Neil, who is fantastic) and any question or request gets handled immediately. We left one of our bags behind on the way to the airport, and the team instantly rode a bike all the way down from Imerovigli to bring it to us. They also catch details you would never expect. Our outdoor table was a bit wobbly, so we leaned a plant pot against the leg to steady it. The next day the team had noticed and properly fixed the table without us ever mentioning it. That level of attention is rare. We had an absolute blast, and this stay made our honeymoon the best experience ever. If you are choosing where to stay in Santorini, book Atoles Retreat.
