Top to bottom, this is a fantastic hotel. Comfortable, well-designed rooms, featuring balconies with great Gstaad views. We spent plenty of time just hanging on the balconies with a bottle of wine. Really wonderful cocktail program at both bars, especially nice on the roof bar, taking in fresh air and sun and looking across the village. Great selection of local spirits and knowledgeable bartenders that really hone their craft. And the food follows suit. Had a fantastic dinner (moules frites, whole fish, carpaccio, gnocchi, and more) at the restaurant on the ground floor. But the hotel team was really the star. The hospitality was gracious and ever-present. We had a few admittedly annoying requests, and they handled them beautifully. They went above and beyond for us, and it made our stay in Gstaad an absolute pleasure. Can’t recommend The Mansard highly enough. Absolute professionals.
Comfortable rooms great beds friendly staff and beautiful atmosphere and interior finishes
Wir haben zwei wunderschöne Tage in diesem Hotel verbracht und waren wirklich begeistert – sowohl vom Hotel selbst als auch von der traumhaften Umgebung. Der Ort ist einfach magisch. Wenn man die Region mit touristischeren Gegenden wie der Jungfrauregion vergleicht, fühlt es sich hier fast wie ein kleines Paradies an: viel weniger Touristen, unglaublich ruhig und entspannt und gleichzeitig diese typisch schöne, gepflegte und authentische Schweiz. Auch die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, um die Region zu entdecken. Es gibt hier unglaublich viel zu sehen und zu unternehmen. Besonders toll fanden wir, dass das Hotel seinen Gästen Gästekarten zur Verfügung stellt. Damit konnten wir unter anderem mit dem GoldenPass Belle Époque und dem GoldenPass Express fahren – zwei der schönsten Panoramazüge der Schweiz. Das gesamte Hotel ist sehr durchdacht und komfortabel gestaltet. Man merkt, dass viel Wert darauf gelegt wurde, dass sich die Gäste wirklich wohlfühlen. Dazu kommt ein unglaublich freundliches und hilfsbereites Team – alle waren sehr herzlich und jederzeit bereit zu helfen. Wir hatten eine wirklich tolle Zeit und hoffen sehr, dass wir eines Tages wiederkommen können. Vielen Dank für die wunderschöne Zeit! Juliana & Vlad
We stayed at this hotel for the first time and were very impressed. We really enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable from the moment we arrived. The hotel has an excellent underground parking garage, and everything inside is designed to make guests feel as comfortable as possible. The staff were incredibly friendly, positive, and pleasant to interact with. We were also very pleasantly surprised that the hotel provides guests with a local guest card, which allows you to use various trains for free and explore nearby towns and the beautiful surrounding area. It was such a great bonus and made our stay even more enjoyable. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family, and I would be very happy to come back again. Juliana
