Eilert Smith Hotel, Stavanger, Norway

Eilert Smith Hotel

Where Nordic modernism meets the quiet charm of Stavanger
On a calm corner of Stavanger’s waterfront, a 1930s functionalist building curves gently toward the harbour, hinting at the design-forward retreat waiting inside. This architectural gem is today home to Eilert Smith Hotel, a boutique hideaway where Nordic elegance, crafted details and understated luxury come together with rare precision.
Step through its doors and the pace softens. The hotel’s twelve rooms and suites, each individually designed, pair clean lines with soft textures, pale woods and a sense of space that feels both contemporary and timeless. Many include personal kitchens for slow mornings with locally roasted coffee, while the top-floor penthouse opens onto sweeping views over the city and sea.

Reviews
What an amazing place to stay. Perfectly located and outstanding service.
It is a fantastic hotel in Stavanger. Hotel staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. Turndown service is impeccable and breakfast in bed is an absolute luxury. All items in the room and fridge are complimentary, although we never get the chance to enjoy them, but none the less, this is a real treat. The manager, Greta is most pleasant and helpful in every way I can imagine. A fine hotel for anyone who wants special treatment.
I have stayed in a lot of luxury hotels around this world, and I can tell you that without a doubt the Staff at Eilert Smith is the best of all of them. The attention to detail and care they display for each of their guests is unmatched. Everyday I am a newly impressed about something small they did to make my stay a little better. Truly wonderful!
