Sophisticated 19th-century elegance in the heart of Gallipoli

Set in the sun-drenched heart of Gallipoli, where sea breeze slips through baroque balconies and the Adriatic shimmers beyond terracotta rooftops, Palazzo del Corso is a 19th-century noble residence turned quietly luxurious escape. History lingers in the high ceilings and original stonework, while contemporary design softens the grandeur with lightness and grace.

Each room is a polished blend of past and present—velvet textures, clean-lined furnishings, and curated details that whisper indulgence. The sea-view suites come with private terraces, perfect for watching the sun melt into the horizon with a glas...

We stayed for five nights at the Palazzo del Corso boutique hotel. It's a cozy and elegant five-star hotel in a 19th-century building. The interior combines classic style with contemporary design, and breakfast and drinks are served on the terrace with panoramic sea views. It's a very tranquil place—the perfect place to unwind after a busy day.

We have just spent a week at the Palazzo del Corso and from the moment we arrived we were made to feel comfortable and welcome. Our room was both peaceful and relaxing and it was hard to believe that the hustle and bustle of Corso Roma and the rest of Gallipoli was just outside The hotel is just a short walk into the old historic town center with its plethora of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. Turn right out of the hotel and the Corso Roma offers a more contemporary but equally rich selection of places to while away the time. The staff at the hotel were, without exception, affable and always willing to help. The breakfast buffet was always tempting and the DolceVita restaurant should not be missed. The icing on the cake? It may not seem a big thing but in my case it was a (bit of a) life saver. I had forgotten to pack a UK to EU plug adaptor needed for a piece of medical kit. And they had one at the reception desk. A big thank you to all at Palazzo del Corso.
