Set on Hvar’s north coast, Maslina Resort is an island escape that captures the Dalmatian coast at its most serene: clear Adriatic water, sheltered coves and Unesco-listed port towns made for slow wandering. It feels peaceful, yet never cut off, with Stari Grad close enough for an easy stroll when you want a change of scene.
The architecture is as considered as the setting. Low-lying buildings sit lightly in the landscape, with pine slats, planted roofs and clean lines that blend into the greenery. Inside, Croatian oak, terracotta, marble and limestone bring a natural, proudly local elegance, with airy spaces that feel calm and quietly luxurious.
Wellness is a headline act. The spa is expansive and beautifully designed, with thermal spaces, saunas and treatment rooms for unhurried afternoons, plus a gym with sea views. Outside, two heated saltwater pools set the tone: an infinity lounge pool for lingering with the view, and a larger family pool with stepped entry and a shallow platform for easy dips.
