The heart of the lodge is its natural infinity pool, set at canopy level so swims feel suspended in the rainforest. Nearby, the Laka-Tii Spa Suite leans into the healing side of the jungle with plant-based treatments, volcanic stone and bamboo massages, and an easy rhythm of yoga, meditation and breathwork in an open-air shala.

The road up to Origins Lodge is winding and a bit remote, so using GPS is the easiest way to get there. You’ll pass through the mountain village of Bijagua and then continue on a rural road where signage is limited. The lodge offers free on-site parking and valet service.

There are few times in life when travel takes you to a place you’ve only seen in dreams. Origins Floral is one of those places. Our stay was the ultimate romantic escape if you are looking to completely unplug and reconnect with nature and each other. This magical hidden gem in the Costa Rican rainforest is absolute perfection. The staff greeted us as we arrived and exited the vehicle. One staff member was holding two ice cold passion fruit drinks and two wet towels to cool us down. During our stay every single staff member went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The circular bungalow felt completely private, surrounded by lush jungle foliage and vibrant tropical flowers. We spent most evenings soaking in our private wood-fired hot tub on the deck and under the stars. The canopy bed was exquisite and made every moment feel luxurious and intimate. We were surrounded by nature and all the sounds made us feel calm, safe and relaxed. Dining was very romantic with farm-to-table plates served in a beautiful open-air setting with panoramic views of the valley. Grant it Origins is somewhat remote but that's what makes it so special. Make the effort to visit this beautiful place and you will NEVER regret it. Thank you Origins for our magical stay!
It was an incredible experience and the staff was very accomodating
Everyone at Origins was extremely accommodating, polite, and worked hard to make us feel very welcome the entire time we were there. My wife is 5 months pregnant and requires more calories but with specific needs. They are vegan friendly and adjusted their menu to meet our needs. Viviana especially was extremely friendly and helpful. Also, we couldn't make it to a scheduled wildlife walk, so they messaged us saying that they found a mama sloth and her baby, picked us up I'm the cart, took us to the spot, and explained natural details while allowing us to use their viewfinder. We couldn't be happier with the experience here and would recommend Origins (floral) to everyone!
