Reviews
I stayed at the Alila Manggis during my first trip to Bali last month, and it was the perfect stay. Alila is about an hour and a half by car from the Canggu area, maybe a little more with traffic, but the moment I stepped out of the car, someone was there to greet me and show me to my room. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxed. It honestly feels like you've stepped into an episode of The White Lotus. The standard room I had was lovely and thoughtfully designed to help guests slow down and enjoy the property. The room itself felt slightly small, but the outdoor grounds felt like a natural extension of the space. I booked this stay on points, and I think it's a wonderful value for a Hyatt property. It's also refreshingly removed from the hustle and bustle of places like Ubud, Seminyak, or Canggu. This is a place where you can simply relax, eat, sleep, and swim. The staff worked consistently hard to keep the grounds immaculate, and I was very impressed by how dedicated they were. There aren't many amenities on-site, but you can book a range of excursions in the surrounding area and beyond. I will say the excursions run a tad pricey compared to arranging them on your own. The food at the resort was pretty good too. I'd give it an 8 out of 10. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay, and I feel I got great value at this beautiful place.
From the moment we stepped out of the van the staff were ready to meet our every need. They welcomed us with a drink and a place to relax while they took care of our bags and checked us in. The friendly staff were always willing to offer assistance and provide you with everything you needed. The view was breathtaking, the grounds were immaculate, and the rooms were spectacular. The food and service at the restaurant was first class, wether you wanted traditional Bali food or more western style they had everything. The wait staff were fantastic, special shout out to Eva, Sari, Alec and Agoos (probably not spelled correctly) they made us feel so welcome and at home. I can't recommend this place enough it was a truly amazing experience.
We are staying for 2 night and that's really good vibes, so calm
