Each suite began life as a traditional gladak, a century-old wooden home from Java, carefully restored and rebuilt by hand. The result is warmer and more soulful than classic minimalism: hand-carved timber, Indonesian art, curated artefacts, soft linen, indoor and outdoor rain showers, and freestanding bathtubs in copper or reclaimed Belgian bluestone. Nothing feels excessive, yet every detail feels considered, as if the architecture has been allowed to breathe beneath the Balinese light.

Wellness is not an add-on here; it is the rhythm of the stay. Mornings can begin in the yoga and meditation shala, with classes ranging from Hatha, Yin and Vinyasa to Pilates and breathwork. Later, days drift between the saltwater infinity pool, the 24-hour gym, the stone firepit and the subterranean hot and cold plunge pools.
