Shinta Mani Wild, Preah Vihear, Cambodia

Shinta Mani Wild

A river-bound hideaway in Cambodia’s deep green
Shinta Mani Wild is tucked into Cambodia’s rainforest, stretched along a river valley where the light comes filtered through canopy and the pace is set by water, not the clock. It feels wonderfully removed, the kind of retreat where the outside world goes quiet fast.
The camp reveals itself in pockets along timber walkways and jungle paths, and for those who like a playful entrance, there’s a zipline that sweeps you in over the river and drops you beside the Landing Zone bar with a grin already in place.
With only 15 tented suites, it stays beautifully intimate. These are generous indoor-outdoor spaces dressed in polished teak, bold textiles, and curated details that feel collected, not staged. Each suite comes with a terrace made for slow hours, plus an open-air roll-top bath that turns the return from the forest into a ritual. Choose a waterfall setting and the night arrives with its own steady soundtrack.

Reviews
Without doubt the most serene and beautiful eco resort we have come across in all of SEA ! The staff, food and environment are extraordinary. We felt immersed in the tranquility of the Cardamon mountains whilst being pampered and enjoying beautifully created food , most of which sourced locally . We will return without any doubt and we shall miss Sam our guide until then . Thank you 🙏
A Haven in the Wild — Shinta Mani Wild Will Stay in Our Hearts Forever Some places you visit, and some places feel like coming home. Shinta Mani Wild was the latter for us — a true haven that transported me back in time to my grandmother’s home, to the simple, blissful magic of my childhood. I never expected to find that feeling deep in the Cambodian forest on my birthday, but from the moment we arrived (my husband and I - it was his birthday gift), it wrapped around us like a warm embrace. Our deepest gratitude goes to Sam, our incredible adventure butler. Sam didn’t just take care of us; he made the wild feel like home. Leading us on the anti-poaching patrol through the forest trail, teaching us to forage, and ending with that unforgettable swim in the stream — every moment was filled with wonder, knowledge, and genuine warmth. Sam, you are a true gem, and we will carry those memories with us always. The wait and bar staff were equally wonderful — attentive, kind, and always one step ahead of any need. To the bar team: thank you for one of the best Negroni, and for that welcome drink whose name escapes me but whose taste will never fade. I ended up making it my permanent drink for our entire stay. It was that good. A special shout-out to Chris, the COO, who generously took the time to join us at the sundowner. His stories captivated us, his presence made the evening unforgettable, and like every single member of the team, he kept us thoroughly engaged with wonderful conversations. Now, the kitchen. Led by the extraordinarily talented Preeti, the culinary team served top-notch food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner — every single meal was an event. The ever-changing breads were a daily delight, and the way the kitchen elevated every flavor was nothing short of art. A huge shout-out for the pomelo salad, the perfectly crispy chicken wings, the soul-warming soup noodles, and — I cannot say this enough — the num pang pate. Absolutely mind-blowing. Preeti and the entire kitchen crew, you fed not just our bodies but our spirits. Shinta Mani Wild is more than a luxury camp; it is a place that touches something deep inside you. It reminded me of my grandmother’s home, of unspoiled joy, of a childhood bliss I thought I’d lost. Here, in the heart of the forest, I found it again. Thank you to everyone — Sam, Keo, Harold, Preeti, Chris, the bar and wait staff, and the entire Shinta Mani Wild family — who made this possible. This is not a goodbye; it’s a see-you-again. With a heart full of gratitude, thank you 🙏🏻
