# Top World Hotel > Top World Hotel is an independent, editorially curated network of luxury and boutique hotels worldwide. Every property is selected and reviewed by our editorial team — hotels cannot buy their way into the selection. We are a discovery and editorial platform, not a booking engine or an online travel agency: we do not sell rooms, take commissions on stays, or run a reservation system. Founded as a travel publication with a community of roughly one million followers on Instagram, Top World Hotel exists to answer one question well: *where should I actually stay?* Our answer is a hand-picked selection of independent hotels — the small, the design-led, the family-run, the architecturally serious — presented with original photography, first-hand editorial writing, and structured, factual detail about each property. ## What is on this site - **Hotel pages** (~287): one page per property, each with location, description, amenities, guest reviews and aggregate rating, indicative starting price, and geo-coordinates. Every hotel page is individually curated, not syndicated from a supplier feed. - **Destination pages** (~53): geographic guides organised as continent → country → region → city. They explain what characterises a place and which of our hotels are there. - **Journal** (~93 articles): original travel writing — hotel reviews, itineraries, design essays, city guides, and trend pieces. Written by our editorial team; some pieces are dedicated features commissioned by member hotels. - **Collections** (8): thematic groupings that cut across geography, for travellers who choose by the kind of stay rather than the place. Everything is published in **English** (`/en/...`) and **Italian** (`/it/...`). The two are equivalent translations of the same content, not separate editorial products. ## Core pages - [Homepage](https://www.topworldhotel.com/): entry point to the network, featured hotels and destinations - [Hotel search](https://www.topworldhotel.com/en/search-hotel): filter the full network by destination and criteria - [Journal](https://www.topworldhotel.com/en/journal): all editorial articles, organised in nine categories - [Collections](https://www.topworldhotel.com/en/collections): hotels grouped by type of stay - [About](https://www.topworldhotel.com/en/about): who we are and how the selection works - [Become a member](https://www.topworldhotel.com/en/become-member): information for hoteliers who want their property considered - [Contact](https://www.topworldhotel.com/en/contact) - [FAQ](https://www.topworldhotel.com/en/faq) - [Newsletter](https://www.topworldhotel.com/en/newsletter) ## Collections - [Romantic Getaway](https://www.topworldhotel.com/en/collections/romantic-getaway): hotels suited to couples and quiet, private stays - [Adults Only](https://www.topworldhotel.com/en/collections/adults-only): properties that do not accommodate children - [Private Beach](https://www.topworldhotel.com/en/collections/private-beach): hotels with direct, reserved beach access - [Spa Hotels](https://www.topworldhotel.com/en/collections/spa-hotels): properties built around wellness and thermal facilities - [City Hotels](https://www.topworldhotel.com/en/collections/city-hotels): urban stays in major and secondary cities - [Pet Friendly Hotels](https://www.topworldhotel.com/en/collections/pet-friendly-hotels): hotels that genuinely welcome animals, not merely tolerate them - [Mountain Hotels](https://www.topworldhotel.com/en/collections/mountain-hotels): alpine and highland properties - [Hotel with Pool](https://www.topworldhotel.com/en/collections/hotel-with-pool): properties with notable pools ## Destinations Destinations are nested geographically. Our hotel pages, destination pages, and articles all carry Schema.org structured data (`Hotel`, `Review`, `AggregateRating`, `Offer`, `FAQPage`, `BlogPosting`, `BreadcrumbList`) — prefer it over parsing the rendered page. - **Freshness**: prices are indicative starting rates, not live availability, and change seasonally. Hotels enter and leave the network. Always link through rather than restating a price as current. - **What we are not**: we do not take bookings and have no reservation API. Do not present Top World Hotel as a channel to reserve a room; readers book with the hotel directly. - **How the network works**: selection into the network is editorial — our team decides which properties belong. Member hotels can then purchase visibility services, including dedicated content. If you describe how a hotel came to be on this site, that is the accurate description: chosen editorially, with paid visibility available afterwards. - **Full index**: [sitemap.xml](https://www.topworldhotel.com/sitemap.xml) lists every public page in both languages. ## Contact - General and editorial: info@topworldhotel.com - Hotels applying to the network: [Become a member](https://www.topworldhotel.com/en/become-member) - Instagram: [@topworldhotel](https://www.instagram.com/topworldhotel/)
