Nascosto tra palme, risaie e colline di un verde quasi irreale, questo è il tipo di posto in cui il mondo fuori si spegne in fretta. Haritha Villas & Spa si trova appena sopra la costa sud dello Sri Lanka, abbastanza vicino a Hikkaduwa per raggiungere il mare e a poca distanza da Galle quando vuoi cambiare ritmo, ma abbastanza appartato da sembrare un rifugio privato.
Qui la privacy è tutto. Le ville contemporanee si incastonano nel pendio con tetti verdi e schermature di vegetazione, mentre due dimore in stile coloniale aggiungono un tocco di eleganza d’altri tempi nella parte più alta della collina. La maggior parte delle sistemazioni ha una piscina privata, e c’è anche una piscina infinity che guarda sulla valle, perfetta per lunghe nuotate lente e pomeriggi senza orologio.
Le giornate le decidi tu. Puoi restare in modalità slow con un libro e una vista dalla terrazza, oppure chiedere al tuo butler di organizzare qualcosa di più attivo, tra biciclette, bagni sotto le cascate, whale watching e sessioni di meditazione. Tornando in villa, ogni dettaglio è pensato con discrezione, con quelle attenzioni che rendono tutto semplice e naturale.
