Structure

Housed in a Belle Époque mansion from the early 20th century, the hotel was recently restored when its current owners purchased it.

Guest accommodations include thirteen suites with lake views. On the top floor La Borromea Suite, the jewel of the crown for VIP Guests with private stairs and elevator with private Jacuzzi pool overlooking the enchanting Lake Maggiore.

The 72 rooms (59 rooms and 19 suites) are divided starting from a very classic style up to a more modern and sophisticated style.
They have personalized style and decorations with paintings, bathrooms decorated with marbles and mosaics, fresh flowers and a reading corner with chairs.

The rooms, the more classic ones, are characterized by wooden furniture, hand-painted walls and Murano chandeliers. Goose down quilts and soft Egyptian cotton linens make sleeping comfortable and restful.

To highlight the fact that some rooms can be communicating with each other, and unfortunately they do not have the necessary soundproofing to make the stay quiet and pleasant.

The marble bathrooms have a jacuzzi, complete set with bathrobe and Acqua di Parma bath products.

All rooms have balconies or terraces with garden or lake view, free minibar with water, soft drinks and beer, safe and TV with a limited choice of channels.

Location

The hotel is located in one of the most spectacular points of Lake Maggiore, with breathtaking views of the famous Borromean Islands.

Easily reachable by train or by car, Villa e Palazzo Aminta is only a 45-minute drive from Malpensa airport, and located near the center of Stresa, a historic destination of elegant and refined tourism.

Although located next to a busy road, the Hotel is undoubtedly a quiet place to stay, accompanied by a wonderful view.

Food & Drink

Hotel Villa e Palazzo Aminta presents its guests with two restaurants to choose from. The I Mori Restaurant, where dinner is served in an intimate and sophisticated environment, is more related to Italian gastronomic traditions and typical products.

While the Le Isole Restaurant where you can dine or have lunch, it is more experimental, suitable for a gourmet clientele. Both have in common, in addition to excellent cuisine, an unforgettable view of the lake and its islands.

Breakfast is served at Le Isole Restaurant, and in the summer seasons guests can also enjoy the adjacent terrace with a splendid view of the lake.
The variety and quality of foods is excellent.

The buffet has solutions for every palate, from sweet as a croissant filled with various jams and homemade cakes, to savory made with Parma ham, variety of fresh and seasoned cheeses and salmon trout. Excellent eggs and waffles cooked at the moment by the chefs. Absolutely to taste the chocolate branded Villa and Palazzo Aminta.

Lunch, served only at the Le Isole Restaurant, offers a delicate and traditional menu, accompanied by a wide selection of wines. We tried Ravioli filled with Lake Fish, Poppy Seeds and Fresh Tomato, Pasta with Pesto Sauce, Caprese with buffalo milk cheese mozzarella and tomatoes, Zabaione and Parfait. All really great.

Services

The hotel, belonging to the Zanetta family, offers its guests complete and punctual services that highly reflect the levels of its deserved five-star luxury. A highly qualified, professional and smiling staff is always ready to promptly solve any problem.

At the front of the hotel, there is a swimming pool with heated water where guests can relax and enjoy a cocktail by the pool. The best service without any doubt is the wellness center.

Palazzo Aminta Beauty & SPA is available for beauty and body treatments and in 2009 we will inaugurate the “grotta” with Thermarium/turkish bath, ice waterfall, Aromarium, sensory and Scottish showers with alternation of hot/cold water, whirpool with geyser jets and relax area.

Inside the wellness center, there are also six treatment rooms equipped with the best technologies.

The structure offers its guests a gym with advanced technology Technogym equipment, equipped with plasma TV with satellite TV, which offer you high-level performances.
