In the quieter eastern Algarve, just outside Vila Nova de Cacela and moments from Cacela Velha, Casas da Quinta de Cima opens onto a different version of the south. Set across a 50-hectare Algarvian estate shaped by orange trees, avocado groves, warm earth and long views towards the Ria Formosa, the hotel feels deeply rooted in the land around it. The coast is close, Faro is within easy reach, and yet the mood is wonderfully rural, with whitewashed walls, birdsong and a kind of silence that makes the Algarve feel softer, slower and more personal.
The suites feel like private little houses within the estate, each around 70 square metres and designed for unhurried stays. Living areas, kitchenettes, marble bathrooms, private terraces and outdoor showers create a rhythm that is both simple and indulgent. Inside, high Algarvian wicker ceilings, terracotta, wood, marble, wool, cotton and vintage details bring warmth without excess, while the calm, tactile interiors make every space feel quietly considered rather than decorated.
For guests who want more privacy, the two villas add another layer of seclusion in the southern part of the property. With two or three bedrooms, full kitchens, fireplaces, private gardens, shaded patios and their own pools, they feel less like hotel rooms and more like private Algarve homes. Mornings begin slowly under cane pergolas, afternoons stretch between the garden and the water, and evenings settle with the kind of ease that only comes from being surrounded by fields, fruit trees and open sky.

A Quinta de Cima vai-se tornando um hábito dos nossos Verões - contudo, sempre tão especial! Na melhor localização do Algarve, este sítio tem esta característica rara de ser o paraíso no paraíso! Tudo é bonito, tudo é simples, tudo é bom, tudo é natural, tudo é confortável e nada é “glamoroso”! Mais importante, todos são profissionais, simpáticos e empáticos (das meninas da limpeza a todos os outros - Elsa, Emilina, Afonso, Valter, André, Débora, Susana e todos!). Maravilhoso! Staff extremamente prestável, sempre muito simpáticos e atenciosos. A atmosfera do Hotel preza pela privacidade, tranquilidade e calma. Apreciámos o facto de ser possível aceder a um conjunto de serviços através do concierge - transporte para a praia, barco, espreguiçadeiras, tudo incluído na estadia e com uma comunicação muito próxima e eficientes. Excelente gosto na decoração, muitos detalhes de antiguidades que (para os mais atentos) são também símbolos de Portugal e das suas cidades, a arquitetura dos espaços é exímia, assim como da música ambiente que os acompanha. O pequeno-almoço é maravilhoso, que segue o conceito de farm to table com produção da própria quinta. Adorámos a paz do espaço, as pessoas e o convite que nos faz a desligar sem esforço. Fomos com esse propósito que foi cumprido! Esperamos voltar!

Amazing place! We loved all staff and Andre did his very best to make us feel home. It is very quit and beautiful interior. A boat can take you to a small island beach. We are coming back!
