A forest lodge above Bolzano with sweeping Dolomite views
High on the Renon plateau, ADLER Ritten feels suspended between forest and sky. Bolzano lies surprisingly close below, yet up here the city gives way to sunlit meadows, larch woods and an uninterrupted sweep of Dolomite peaks. At around 1,200 metres above sea level, the air feels cooler and clearer, the horizon opens in every direction and the pace begins to change before you have even reached the Lodge.
The architecture gathers quietly around a woodland glade and a deep-green natural pond. Dark timber, broad panes of glass and steeply pitched roofs give the property a strong Alpine character without leaning into the usual mountain clichés. Junior Suites bring spruce interiors, generous balconies and private bio-saunas, while the freestanding chalets offer more privacy among the trees. Depending on the category, they unfold across one or two levels with larchwood interiors, open fireplaces, terraces and far-reaching mountain views. The expansive Panorama Suites add separate bedrooms, private balconies and large living spaces designed for longer, slower stays.
Few pools make their setting feel quite this present. The 23-metre saltwater infinity pool is heated throughout the year, flowing from inside towards the open air with the Dolomites filling the view ahead. Around it, the spa seems to disappear into the woodland rather than stand apart from it. A Finnish sauna and aromatic bio-sauna sit among the trees, joined by a steam bath, quiet relaxation rooms and treatments inspired by Alpine herbs and the scents of the forest. Even the panoramic fitness area and yoga spaces keep the landscape in sight, making movement feel naturally connected to the surroundings.

Set on the Renon plateau above Bolzano, having a car is convenient for exploring the surrounding villages, vineyards, the Renon earth pyramids and Rittner Horn. The historic railway and cable car also make it easy to discover the area without driving. Free private parking is available on site and no reservation is required. Electric vehicle charging stations are also available.

La struttura merita una recensione perché il posto è veramente da fiaba! Consigliato per chi vuole pace, serenità e voglia di disconnettersi dal mondo e connettersi con la sola natura che in quel punto è veramente spettacolare. Do 5 stelle perché non c'è la possibilità di darne 10.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Außergewöhnlich, verzaubernd – ein echtes Südtirol-Highlight 🏔️✨ Wir waren vom 25.08. bis 28.08.2026 als Familie mit zwei Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern in der ADLER Lodge RITTEN und haben im Family Chalet 11 gewohnt. Drei Nächte, die für uns zu den absoluten Highlights unserer Südtirol-Reise 2026 gehören. 🏡 Family Chalet – einfach Wahnsinn Das Family Chalet ist mit seinen rund 105 m² unglaublich großzügig und bietet als Familie enorm viel Platz. Zwei Ebenen, ein separates Kinderzimmer, wunderschöne Duschbereiche, viel Privatsphäre und sogar eine eigene Bio-Sauna direkt im Chalet – hier fehlt wirklich nichts. Auch Klimaanlagen sind vorhanden, falls es im Sommer einmal wärmer wird. Ausstattung, Materialien und die gesamte Atmosphäre haben uns rundum begeistert. 🏔️ Lage & Dolomitenpanorama Schon die Lage der Lodge am Ritten ist außergewöhnlich. Eingebettet in die wunderschöne Südtiroler Natur genießt man ein beeindruckendes Dolomitenpanorama mit Blick in Richtung Schlern und Latemar-Gruppe. Diese Verbindung aus Ruhe, Natur und traumhafter Bergkulisse macht den Ort einfach besonders. 💦 Wellness – klein, fein & wunderschön Der Wellnessbereich ist nicht riesig, dafür sehr hochwertig, ruhig und wunderschön gestaltet. Besonders gefallen haben uns das außergewöhnliche Dampfbad und der täglich beheizte Infinity-Outdoorpool mit traumhaftem Dolomitenblick. Ein kleiner Sportbereich ist ebenfalls vorhanden. 🍽️ Kulinarik auf außergewöhnlichem Niveau Das Frühstücksbuffet ist umwerfend. Eine hervorragende Auswahl, hochwertige Produkte und natürlich frisch zubereitete Eierspeisen – hier findet wirklich jeder etwas und uns hat absolut nichts gefehlt. Auch das abendliche Gourmet-Essen war geschmacklich außergewöhnlich und immer wieder ein Genuss. Dazu kommen frisch zubereitete Aperitifs und Cocktails auf Wunsch sowie die umfangreiche Getränkeauswahl des All-Inclusive-Konzepts. Kulinarisch bleiben hier wirklich kaum Wünsche offen. 🍷🍸 😊 Service & Aktivitäten Der Service verdient ein besonderes Lob. Ein hervorragend geschultes, herzliches und aufmerksames Team, bei dem man das Gefühl hat, dass wirklich jeder Wunsch gerne erfüllt wird. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns außerdem die inkludierte geführte E-Bike-Tour. 🚲🌲 Eine tolle Möglichkeit, die wunderschöne Region rund um den Ritten kennenzulernen und gleichzeitig aktiv unterwegs zu sein. ❤️ Unser Fazit Die ADLER Lodge RITTEN verbindet für uns auf außergewöhnliche Weise Natur, Luxus, Ruhe, hervorragende Kulinarik und exzellenten Service. Trotz des hohen Niveaus fühlt sich die Lodge angenehm persönlich und entspannt an. Unser Family Chalet 11, das traumhafte Dolomitenpanorama, der Infinity-Pool, der Wellnessbereich, das fantastische Essen und vor allem die Herzlichkeit des Teams haben unseren Aufenthalt wirklich besonders gemacht. Außergewöhnlich, verzaubernd und für uns ganz klar: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 von 5 Sternen! Ein wunderschöner Teil unserer Südtirol-Reise 2026, an den wir uns sehr gerne erinnern werden. ❤️🏔️

Ogni anno questa struttura riesce a migliorarsi, introducendo sempre qualche piacevole novità che rende il soggiorno ancora più speciale. La location è semplicemente splendida e viene gestita in modo magistrale da Carmen, sempre sorridente, empatica e disponibile ad accogliere ogni esigenza degli ospiti, e da Hannes, professionale, competente e dotato di una grande creatività. Il ristorante è un vero punto di forza: Paul e Andrea Bezerra lo guidano in maniera impeccabile, con grande attenzione alla qualità del servizio, alle esigenze degli ospiti e a ogni tipo di allergia o intolleranza alimentare. Sempre propositivi e pronti a trovare la soluzione migliore. Un plauso va anche a tutto il personale di sala, sempre attento, cortese e professionale, con una menzione speciale per Philip e Andrea, che si distinguono per disponibilità e cura del cliente. Al bar, Rudi e Lorenzo sono una garanzia: competenti, appassionati e sempre pronti a sperimentare nuove proposte, arricchendo costantemente l'offerta con creatività e qualità. La SPA è gestita in modo eccellente da Lisa, che contribuisce a creare un ambiente rilassante e impeccabile sotto ogni aspetto. Infine, un ringraziamento speciale a Karin della reception: paziente, sorridente, accogliente e straordinaria nel risolvere qualsiasi problema con efficienza e professionalità. Complimenti a tutto il team per l'impegno, la passione e l'attenzione ai dettagli che rendono questa struttura un luogo in cui è sempre un piacere tornare
