Arctic TreeHouse Hotel

Nordic design at the Arctic Circle made for aurora nights and forest views
Just outside Rovaniemi, on the edge of the Arctic Circle, Arctic TreeHouse Hotel feels like a modern hideaway built for the north: quiet woods, crisp air, and a front-row seat to Finnish Lapland’s most surreal seasons. In winter, the darkness brings a real chance of Northern Lights; in summer, the midnight sun stretches the days into something dreamlike.
The look is pure Scandinavian calm, warm timber, soft lighting, clean lines, but the real signature is the way the rooms frame the landscape. Beds are positioned towards a panoramic window, so you wake up to snow-dusted trees or a sky that refuses to go dark. It’s “cozy” in the most considered way: nest-like without feeling small, design-led without feeling cold.
Accommodation has a few standout styles, depending on how much space and privacy you want. The TreeHouse Suites are the iconic base: sleek, cocooned, and all about that forest-facing window. Step up to an Arctic GlassHouse for a more cabin-like stay with a real fireplace, a private sauna, and a deck aimed at the northern skies. For the full upgrade, the ArcticScene Executive Suites add a separate living area and a dedicated wellness zone designed to feel spa-like, plus a glazed terrace with a fireplace.

Reviews
loved this hotel! From the moment I arrived til the time I departed I felt welcomed and cared for. Yes the rooms are small but it adds to the charm and quaintness of the hotel - note the word treehouse. Each house is very private and the floor to ceiling windows are amazing. Plenty of property to just do a solo trek thru the woods. I had breakfast, lunch and dinner there and thought the food was better than I’ve had in London. I would definitely go back and recommend staying there.
