A Mykonian-inspired sanctuary for slow coastal living in Cyprus
In the sun-drenched south of Ayia Napa, AYA Resort feels like a calmer side of Cyprus, one shaped by light, privacy and beautifully considered design. This adults-only retreat brings Mykonian architectural lines to the island and softens them with natural textures, stone and acacia wood, creating a setting that feels both refined and easy, with the outdoors always part of the experience.
The resort tells its story through space and flow. With just 48 suites and bungalows, AYA leans into a more intimate rhythm, where water, quiet and comfort set the pace. Some suites open directly onto the pool, others come with private or plunge pools, and garden hideaways and overwater-style bungalows add that extra sense of escape. The mood is serene throughout, with open-plan interiors, a soft coastal palette and room categories that move from elegant simplicity to more indulgent stays.
Life here naturally gathers around water. At the centre is the AYÃ Summer Club and its expansive 3,000sqm pool, a standout space designed to shift effortlessly between tropical stillness and a more social poolside energy. Loungers, music, drinks and long sunny afternoons create an atmosphere that feels lively when you want it to, and deeply relaxing when you do not. The resort’s southern Ayia Napa setting adds to that balance, keeping you close to the coast while feeling slightly removed from the busier rhythm of town.
AYA Resort is set in the southern area of Ayia Napa, with the town centre and harbour around 10–15 minutes away by car, so taxis or a rental car are a convenient option if you’d like to explore more of the island. Free private parking is available on site and no reservation is needed
