High above Lech am Arlberg, Aurelio Hotel & Chalet feels like a private world carved into the Austrian Alps. Set at around 1,500 metres beside the Schlegelkopf slope, this five-star superior retreat brings the mountains almost to the doorstep while keeping the atmosphere intimate and composed. Snow-covered peaks, warm timber and contemporary alpine interiors shape a place where days feel expansive and evenings quietly cocooned.
The hotel is deliberately small, with just ten individually designed Top Deluxe Double Rooms and Aurelio Suites. Each opens onto a south-facing balcony with views across Lech and the surrounding mountains, while generous proportions give the interiors the ease of a private residence. For something even more secluded, the Aurelio Club Chalet can be reserved exclusively for up to 16 guests, bringing together six double rooms, two junior suites, a private spa, generous living spaces and dedicated butler service.
Winter begins almost outside the door. Direct access to the Schlegelkopf slope connects Aurelio with the wider Ski Arlberg area and more than 300 kilometres of terrain, while snowshoeing, snowboarding and heliskiing offer a different way into the landscape. Later, the tempo softens on the sun terrace or beside the open fireplace in the Licca Lounge, when ski boots disappear and the mountains become something simply to look at.

Set at around 1,500 metres in Lech am Arlberg, Aurelio Hotel & Chalet sits directly beside the Schlegelkopf slope, with the village and surrounding Arlberg mountains close at hand. Once in Lech, a car is not essential, as the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service within Lech and Zürs, making it easy to move around the area. We had our wedding at Aurelio in July and had the most magical weekend, could not have been better. Everything was just perfect. The rooms and the hotel itself were incredibly beautiful, the view and location are one of a kind, the spa was amazing and the food was outstanding. But what stood out the most was the service by Axel, Carina and the team. It was incredible, they seemed to know what I wanted before I even realized it myself. They had every little detail of the entire wedding weekend under control, including beautiful surprises we were not even aware of. And never felt pretentious or fussy, everyone was just so warm and down to earth while still making you feel completely taken care of. Just genuinely welcoming people who clearly care about what they do. We scouted many places in Lech for our wedding before making a choice - this village is just fabulous, great community, everyone speaking very highly of each other. Can’t recommend Aurelio enough, already looking forward to going back.

Das Personal war zu jeder Zeit verfügbar und immer sehr freundlich und kompetent ! Das Restaurant bietet am Morgen auf die eigenen Vorlieben angepasstes Frühstück und am Abend eine tolle Auswahl ein exklusiven Gerichten ! Die Aussicht vom Hotelbalkon auf den Arlberg und die Ski-Piste sind zu jeder Zeit einen blick wert! Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und mit dem Doppel-Zimmerservice am morgen und Abend zu jeder Zeit immer gereinigt und aufgeräumt. Wir kommen gerne wieder !
