In the heart of Austria’s Grossarl Valley, Grossarler Hof feels inseparable from the mountains around it. That sense of place continues through the rooms and suites, where regional materials meet soft fabrics, warm lighting and views towards Grossarl and the surrounding peaks. Some spaces add generous living areas and traditional tiled stoves, but the real appeal lies in the mood they create. Mornings begin slowly with the valley beyond the window, while evenings invite you to retreat indoors, leave the cold outside and settle into the quieter rhythm of mountain life.

The landscape is never far from the experience. In winter, the Panoramabahn gondola is only around 50 steps from the hotel, opening directly onto the Grossarltal-Dorfgastein ski area and the wider Ski amadé region. When summer arrives, snow gives way to hiking trails, mountain bikes and flower-filled meadows. One of the most distinctive excursions leads towards the hotel’s own Mooslehenalm, a traditional hut high above the valley, surrounded by forest, open pastures and wide Alpine views.
